Chicken Seitan

Chicken Seitan

makes 8 chicken breasts


2 cups dried soy chunks

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 teaspoon sesame oil

4 tablespoons tahini

2 tablespoon nutritional yeast

2 cups wheat gluten


Add all of the ingredients except the gluten to a bullet blender with a cup of water.

Blend until smooth and tip out into a mixing bowl.

Stir in the gluten until a ball is formed.

Knead for around 5 minutes.

Let it rest for 10 minutes.

Cut the dough into 4 pieces and form into chops or desired shape.

Steam for 40 minutes.
